| It was another convincing offensive showing for the Dolphins. Mercury Morris rushed for 113 yards and Larry Csonka added another 91 as the team gained 501 yards. Csonka's total pushed him over 1,000 for the second consecutive season. Earl Morrall threw touchdown passes to Jim Mandich of 3 yards and 14 yards to Marlin Briscoe. The Dolphins led 13-7 at the half and outscored the Patriots 17-0 in the third quarter. |
